The 2015 season concludes in royal fashion with a delightful program of choral and symphonic masterworks featuring the Colorado Music Festival Chorus and soprano Mary Wilson. The program opens with three vocal works by Mozart: the glorious Ave Verum Corpus, the joyous Exsultate, jubilate, and the beautiful Regina Coeli, “Queen of Heaven.” The program’s second half features a royal celebration of Handel’s music, including “Zadok the Priest,” from The Coronation Anthems, Music for the Royal Fireworks, and excerpts from the beautiful cantata Ode to St. Cecilia’s Day.
