Eurhythmics
Engaging activities reinforce concepts such as understanding written rhythm, music and movement, developing a singing voice, using props in creative ways, learning about spatial awareness, working with others, and much more. After each class, students take home
written work to complete with parents along with song literature.

Rhythmic Solfège I, II, and III
All of the elements begun in the Eurhythmics program will be continued here. Although it is not a requirement, it is recommended that students have at least one year of Eurhythmics before entering the program. For older students who already have musical experience and would like to enter into the sequence at a higher level, an audition will be scheduled to determine the appropriate level.

Time: Rhythmic Solfège 1, 4:00pm-5:00pm
Rhythmic Solfège 2, 5:00pm-6:00pm
Rhythmic Solfège 3, 6:00pm-7:00pm

Join us for a FREE Dalcroze Eurhythmics Demo Class
Dr. Dittus will lead the class in a sampling of Eurhythmic activities followed by a Question and Answer time for parents to deepen their understanding of this unique music learning approach. All ages and musical abilities are welcome. Pre-registration is required.

Dalcroze Eurhythmics for Seniors – NEW this year!
Dalcroze Eurhythmics is a great way for seniors to stay active and challenge their minds. Each class will focus on coordination, flexibility, balance, problem solving, and other types of mental and physical challenges. A recent article in the New York Times
mentioned that seniors who participated in Dalcroze classes fell 50% less and showed an improved sense of balance and a sharper sense of focus.
