Ride the FREE HOP 2 Chautauqua – The Ultimate Carpool!

Leave the hassle of parking at home and catch a ride from any one of the convenient Boulder stops and enjoy a stress-free evening!

Established in 1898, the Colorado Chautauqua was not developed with automobile use in mind and has very limited parking space available within the National Historic Landmark boundary. Join us in being part of the solution to help reduce congestion by riding the HOP 2 Chautauqua, a free transit service to the Colorado Music Festival and Chautauqua Summer Series events.

Buses begin approximately two hours before show time and arrive approximately every fifteen minutes until 30 minutes after performance begins. All buses drop off on Baseline between 10th and Lincoln Place (Trolley Stop at Chautauqua Park). It is approximately a 4 minute walk, with an elevation gain of 100 feet, from the bus stop to the Auditorium.

All HOP 2 Chautauqua shuttles are ADA compliant “kneeling” buses. For most convenient ADA access, catch the shuttle at 27th Way Park-n-Ride and ask for an accessible drop off. The shuttle will alter its route and drop off patrons at the Auditorium ramp located on the east side of the Auditorium on 12th street.

At the end of the performance, shuttles pick up all patrons on the east side of the Auditorium and run for 45 minutes after the end of each show.

The most ample and free 24 hour parking (to Boulder County residents) is at the 27th Way Park-n-Ride.
Additional free parking is available on concert nights at New Vista High School (700 20th St Boulder,) and after hours at various city lots in downtown Boulder.
